The Downside Up Circus’ public performance debut will be at The Happy Pill Circus #4, the latest in a series of wildly entertaining community-oriented music-and-more jamborees hosted by The Primate Fiasco in Northampton, MA. We will be doing our thing as some visual accompaniment for the band’s excellent psychedelic dixieland music, and infiltrating the audience too. We’ll also be sharing the stage with our heroes, the ever-inspiring Bread and Puppet Theatre from Vermont. The show is NO CHARGE, courtesy of Free Press, a national organization for media reform & democracy. Come goggle and come boogie, shimmy and shout, put your left leg in and find out what it’s all about. It’s a crowd-generated cure for the recession blues – join us and help turn the downside up!
